Method and application
Accessible internal areas of engines, pipes and enclosed components are imaged using suitable optical systems. Probe diameter, length, viewing direction and lighting are selected according to geometry and inspection purpose. Deposits, wear and surface damage are recorded.

Inspection is limited by access and field of view. Dimensional measurement is possible only with verified equipment that has this capability.
Reporting
Reports document access points, areas inspected, visual findings and areas that could not be viewed.
